Verified Sift

Judgments, screened before you ever see the list.

Launching in Connecticut: a live pipeline over Superior Court civil records that filters, skip-traces, verifies current status, and asset-checks every record against town land records. The same machine replicates state by state; Connecticut is where it is proven. What we deliver is not a scrape. It is a screened, verified, assignment-ready candidate list.

The market context, verified: unscreened judgment paper trades at pennies on the dollar (the FTC's debt-buying study documented a 4-cent average). Asset-verified paper trades in the 10-to-25-percent band. The gap between those two numbers is the entire product.

The product

What each record carries

Every delivered record has passed the full pipeline. Raw dockets are public; the screened state is the product.

Court-validated paper

Docket number, case type, disposition date, and a judgment disposition verified on the public case system the day of delivery.

Skip-traced defendant

Defendant name and address of record, with self-represented status flagged. Re-verified against the live docket.

Asset indicators

Town land-record and GIS checks: current property ownership, parcel type, assessed value, business-entity ownership where present.

Status warranty

Each record ships marked verified-unsatisfied as of its delivery date. Satisfied judgments are filtered out before they ever reach a batch.

Method

Built from public records, sorted by judgment.

Every source is public and lawful: Connecticut Judicial Branch case records, town clerk land indices, municipal assessor and GIS systems, and the Secretary of State business registry. No purchased lists, no debtor contact, no deception.

Population. Continuous crawl of Connecticut civil dockets across courts and sampling slices.
Statistical filter. Paper age band, plaintiff class, and court region. Institutional and debt-buyer plaintiffs are excluded: that paper is priced efficiently already.
Enrichment. Case detail, disposition, and defendant-of-record extraction for each surviving candidate.
Asset screen. Town land records and assessor data for each located defendant. Property-confirmed records are tagged and tiered.
Verification. Final satisfaction check on delivery day. Batches are dated, watermarked per buyer, and logged.
Replication. The pipeline is state-agnostic by design. Connecticut first; additional states follow the same statute-reading, portal-mapping playbook. Buyers in new states are placed on the expansion list.
Tiers

Non-exclusive by default. Exclusivity priced separately.

One design fact worth knowing before choosing: a batch's screening value decays. Defendants move, property sells, satisfaction filings arrive. A batch bought today is at its most useful today; a batch bought after its verification date is a starting point for your own research, not a finished product. That is why batches are dated, and why the dated-exclusivity tier exists.

TierWhat the buyer receivesRestrictionPricing
Tier 1 — Batch licenseFull batch, all delivered fields, per-buyer watermark.Non-exclusive. Batch may be licensed to other buyers after delivery.Per record, by tier of enrichment
Tier 2 — Dated exclusivityFull batch with a written exclusivity window.Batch not delivered to any other buyer during the stated window (60/90/120 days). Lapses automatically.Premium over Tier 1
Tier 3 — Segment routingFirst right on new batches matching a defined segment (region or case class).Standing first-call arrangement, renewable.By arrangement

Seller's warranty. A batch identified by its watermark will not be delivered to any other purchaser during its exclusivity period. After the window, the batch may be licensed without restriction. Enhancements and new batches are separate products. All sales final; a partial sample is provided before purchase so buyers can verify provenance independently on the public docket.

Sample

Verify before you buy.

Licensed buyers and collection firms may request a partial sample of three records: docket numbers, case identifiers, and disposition dates only. Every field on the sample is independently verifiable on the Connecticut Judicial Branch public case look-up. Full enrichment (defendant location and asset indicators) is delivered on purchase, watermarked to the buyer.
